What is the benefit of paying your disposal fee separately?
With Dumpstars you pay only for your actual disposal fee. The customary policy of "includes one ton" does not provide reimbursement for loads weighing below one ton, thereby incurring additional costs on your part. At the same time, loads weighing over your included tonnage may be billed at a higher rate than the disposal facility actually charges.
DUMPSTARS WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE ACTUAL DISPOSAL FACILITY RECEIPT.
What items CANNOT be placed in the dumpster?
Restricted items CANNOT be placed in a dumpster or roll off due to transfer station restrictions. These include but are not limited to:
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE INCLUDING:
- Paint Cans and/or aerosol sprays
- Chemicals or Toxic Materials (antifreeze, pesticides, etc)
- Fuels (gasoline, kerosene, motor oil, etc)
- Automotive Batteries without advance notice
- Cleaning Solvents
- Asbestos
- Concrete, Dirt, Stone, Brick
- Medical Waste
What items will incur an additional fee for disposal?
Current Transfer Station Additional Disposal Fees as of 1/1/24
- Mattresses/Box Springs/Sleeper Sofas - $5
- Refrigeration Units - $20:
Air Conditioners
Dehumidifiers
Water Coolers, Etc.
- Fluorescent Bulbs $6 and Ballasts - $12
- Tires:
16 - 20 inches - $26

- Propane Tanks (gas grill, etc.) - $7
- Lead Acid Batteries - $4
Dumpstars will never mark up additional fees charged by transfer station.
How should I load the dumpster/roll off?
Items cannot protrude over the sides, out the back or over the wall height. If loading heavy materials (shingles, etc) please distribute the weight somewhat evenly.
Is Yard Waste Cheaper to Dispose of?
A load of strictly clean brush will be billed at our low rental fee plus the current transfer station disposal fee ($40/ton as of 1/1/24) Call for additional information
